During International Labor Day, the epidemic in India has continued to worsen. Countries around the world are paying close attention to the epidemic in India. In particular, as a close neighbor, China has been doing its utmost to support India. Chinese oxygen generator manufacturers work overtime on Labor Day to produce oxygen generators and ship them to India.
Sun Weidong, the Chinese ambassador to India, said that employees of a Chinese manufacturer of oxygen concentrators worked overtime during the May 1st holiday to produce and pack machines for shipment to India. Sun Weidong posted on Twitter the day before yesterday (May 2) that the batch of oxygen generators will be shipped to India soon. He also attached a video of employees packing the oxygen concentrator machines to the tweet.
China provides help to India
Since this round of the epidemic in India worsened, China's attitude towards the epidemic in India has attracted considerable attention. Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a message of condolences to Indian Prime Minister Modi last Friday, expressing his willingness to strengthen cooperation with India in the fight against the epidemic and provide support and assistance to the Indian side. On the same day, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi also had a phone conversation with Indian Foreign Minister Su Jaishan, saying that he would provide assistance to India. As the ambassador to India, Sun Weidong has also frequently posted messages on China’s support for India on social media in recent days.
In an interview with the Global Times last Friday, Sun Weidong said that China was one of the first countries to offer support and assistance to India and one of the first countries to put actual actions into practice. He also said that many Chinese companies and non-governmental organizations are providing various assistance to India in their own way. Sun Weidong also said that relevant domestic Chinese companies are stepping up the production of orders for at least 40,000 oxygen concentrators submitted by India, and strive to deliver the necessary medical supplies to India as soon as possible.

Sun Weidong said that China will continue to encourage and support Chinese enterprises to accelerate the production and provision of anti-epidemic materials, provide customs clearance and transportation convenience for India's purchase of anti-epidemic materials, and organize anti-epidemic exchanges between health and epidemic prevention experts of the two countries to share the anti-epidemic experience. The next day, he wrote on Twitter that there were 61 cargo flights from China to India in the past two weeks, delivering all kinds of urgently needed medical supplies to India.
In addition, the Chinese Embassy in Sri Lanka announced on Twitter on the 26th of last month that China has airlifted 800 oxygen generators to India and will provide India with an additional 10,000 medical use oxygen generators within a week. The epidemic situation in India continues to worsen, and the spread of the virus is still rapid. According to a Reuters report yesterday, India has had more than 300,000 new cases per day for 12 consecutive days. For China’s support, Jaishan Su expressed his gratitude during the call with Wang Yi.
As a leading manufacturer of oxygen generators in China, YG company has also been working overtime to produce oxygen generators. I hope that people in India and all over the world will stay away from the new crown epidemic as soon as possible.
